Sailing holiday on Lake Garda
– something for everyone
Whether you are just learning to sail a dinghy or an experienced sailor looking for a great week of sun, wind, fantastic reaches and evening socializing, Lake Garda is the place for you. Our fleets of modern dinghies and catamarans are suitable for all ages, sizes and abilities. If you want to mix dinghy sailing with catamaran sailing or even add windsurfing to a package, we can do that!
The best location for a sailing holiday. The winds are absolutely great for dinghy sailors and catamaran sailors nearly every day and learning or free sailing in such a beautiful environment with the mountains around you is quite inspiring. As you grow in confidence you can begin to explore more of the lake and see the cliffs at Campione, the lemon groves of Limone and the castle in Malcesine.
The midday winds are ideal for children to start their sailing careers and we have the right smaller boats for them to develop confidence and independence on their own all as well as sympathetic instructors who can help them enjoy their first lessons on the water.
RYA sailing courses
We offer RYA courses in dinghy sailing or catamaran sailing or private lessons and our own short courses for those wanting to experience sailing but who don’t want a certificate. All of our courses have the emphasis on practical sailing experience with the minimum time spent on land studying theory. Personal coaching can be organised on an hourly basis for those who wish to perfect a specific skill.
You can choose whether to learn in a very stable boat with an instructor or in a single-handed dingy with an instructor nearby on the water. Our location means that we can teach you during both the light and the strong wind periods of the day and you can learn close to shore until you are confident to venture out into the middle of the lake and beyond.

Major international sailing centre
Full toilet, changing and showering facilities are available in the stunning club house of the Malcesine Sailing Club (Fraglia Vela Malcesine). We have a grassed sunbathing area and a seating and tuition area. Food and drink is available at the ‘via col Vento’ restaurant which serves snacks or full Italian meals, lunchtime and evenings and has a beautiful outdoor area fronting the lake.
Relaxing times can also be had at the many small bars and restaurants within 5 minutes walk of our beach, by walking to nearby villages of Navene (300m) or Campagnola (400m) along the lakeside path.
